Shares of Tata Steel, Reliance, Wipro fell, then Sensex fell below 52000 points

 Earlier, after the end of trading on Tuesday, the BSE Sensex was up 934.23 points (1.81 per cent) at 52,532.07 points. The NSE Nifty jumped 288.65 points (1.88 per cent) to close at 15,638.80.

Stock Market Today: After a boom of two days, the domestic stock market again came under the grip of selling on Wednesday. This week the market was seeing an uptrend after several days. The market was getting support from buying coming in good stocks especially at lower levels. However, this support did not last long and today it got braked. Both BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty started trading with a fall. The market remained in the red mark for the whole day and finally closed with losses.



Market falling since pre-open

The domestic market remained in decline since the pre-open session itself. Before the start of the session, the Sensex had fallen by about 350 points and was trading slightly below 52,200 points. Similarly, Nifty was also down about 100 points in the pre-open session. SGX Nifty was also in loss in Singapore. At 09:20 am, the Sensex was trading at 52,192 points with a loss of about 340 points. Nifty had fallen below the 15,530 mark, down about 115 points.

The stock market closed down so much

As the business progressed, the market also went down. After opening at 52,186.36 points, the Sensex could only climb up to 52,272.85 points once. During trading, it fell to a low of 51,739.98 points. After the close of trading, the Sensex closed at 51,822.53 points, down 709.54 points or 1.35 per cent. Similarly, Nifty also closed at 15,413.30 with a loss of 225.50 points (1.44 per cent). In today's business, Tata Steel lost 5.24 percent among the Sensex companies. Shares of Wipro and Reliance Industries also fell by more than 3-3 per cent.

Market started well this week

Earlier, after the end of trading on Tuesday, the BSE Sensex was up 934.23 points (1.81 per cent) at 52,532.07 points. The NSE Nifty jumped 288.65 points (1.88 per cent) to close at 15,638.80. The market was helped by the shares of big companies like Reliance and TCS as well as IT and Banking Stocks. On Monday, the first day of the week, there was volatility in the market in a limited range. After the close of trading, the Sensex was up 237.42 points (0.46 per cent) at 51,597.84 points and the Nifty was up 56.65 points (0.37 per cent) at 15,350.15.

Falling trend in Asian markets

The US market was closed on Monday on the occasion of Juneteenth. On Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had gained 2.15 per cent. Tech-focused index Nasdaq Composite was up 2.51 per cent and the S&P 500 (S&P 500) was up 2.45 per cent. Today the decline in Asian markets dominates. Japan's Nikkei closed down 0.37 percent. Hong Kong's Hangseng was down 2.56 per cent and China's Shanghai Composite was down by 1.20 per cent.
