Manish Sisodia: Now Sisodia in ED's custody till March 17, read what arguments were given during the hearing in the court
A court on Friday sent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till March 17. A money laundering case has been registered against Sisodia in connection with the alleged Delhi Excise Policy scam. The ED sought 10 days' custody of Sisodia before Special Judge MK Nagpal. The ED arrested Sisodia on Thursday evening after questioning him for several hours in Tihar Jail. The ED is probing the Delhi Excise Policy case from the angle of money laundering. During the hearing on Friday, the ED said that the change in excise policy has been done to benefit a group from South India.
