Delhi News: CBI's interrogation of Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is over. Today, after 9 hours of interrogation, Sisodia has left the CBI office in Delhi. On Sunday, CBI had summoned Sisodia in the liquor scam case. Aam Aadmi Party also demonstrated today against the inquiry of CBI.
Targeting BJP
After questioning, Sisodia targeted the BJP. He said, 'Today I saw in the CBI office that there is no issue of any scam (excise policy matter). The whole matter is fake. I understood all that in 9 hours of interrogation today. The matter is not about investigating any scam against me, it is about making Operation Lotus a success in Delhi.
'Fake case'
He further said, 'I was told to leave AAP or else you will keep in jail like Satyendra Jain. Even though there is no evidence against them. I am not going to come under any pressure of this kind of Operation Lotus. The whole case is fake. There was no scam anywhere. I said clearly - I feel happy when the child of a Delhi rickshaw driver becomes an Engineer. I don't get the pleasure of thinking of becoming CM.
Kejriwal said this by tweeting
At the same time, after the interrogation of Manish Sisodia was over, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that Manish will go for Gujarat election campaign tomorrow. Here the CBI official said that the CBI will evaluate the answers given by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and if needed, he will be called again later.
