Arunachal Pradesh: Army's ALH helicopter crashes, rescue team leaves for accident

Arunachal Pradesh Helicopter Crash: According to Defense Public Relations Officer, Guwahati, the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) crashed near Tuting area in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh at around 10:40 am on Friday.


Army Helicopter Crash: A military helicopter crashed on Friday near Singing village, 25 km from Tuting headquarters in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. According to Defense Public Relations Officer, Guwahati, the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) crashed near Tuting area in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh at around 10:40 am on Friday.


According to the information, since the accident site is not connected by road, the rescue team has been dispatched from Tuting headquarters on foot. Upper Siang Superintendent of Police Jummar Basar said, “The accident site is not connected by road. A rescue team has been sent and all other details are awaited.”


Earlier this year on October 5, an Indian Army pilot was killed in a Cheetah helicopter crash near Tawang area of ​​Arunachal Pradesh. According to army officials, "The Cheetah helicopter, which was flying in the forward areas near Tawang, crashed at around 10:00 am during a routine flight."
