Rishi Sunak, born in Hampshire, UK, pursued higher education from Oxford University, and then did his MBA from Stanford University in the US. After completing his studies, he started his career with investment bank Goldman Sachs. After this he came into politics and became MP from Richmond, Yorkshire for the first time in the year 2015. Rishi Sunak is a frequent MP there. Last year, Sunak was elected MP from Richmond seat for the second time.
Narayan Murthy's son-in-law
Apart from taking over as Britain's Finance Minister and Housing Minister, he also played an important role in Boris Johnson's election campaign. Rishi Sunak is the son-in-law of Narayan Murthy, the co-founder of Indian software company Infosys. He was married to Narayana Murthy's daughter Akshata Murthy in the year 2009.
Sunak lost to Liz Truss

Truss got 81,326 votes i.e. 57 percent votes in the election, while Sunak got 60,399 votes. But after 44 days, Liz Truss has resigned. After this, once again the name of Rishi Sunak is in discussion.
