Jacqueline Fernandez ED: Delhi's Patiala House Court on Saturday granted interim relief to actress Jacqueline Fernandez till November 10 in a money laundering case. Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and others are involved in this money laundering case of 200 crores. Hearing on regular bail and other pending applications has been scheduled for November 10. The court also directed the ED to make available the charge sheet and other relevant documents to all the parties.


Jacqueline gets relief from court


The court was to hear the regular bail plea of ​​the Bollywood actress. Jacqueline was granted interim bail in the case on the last date of hearing. Fernandez appeared in the court along with her lawyer Prashant Patil for the hearing. The ED was granted interim bail following the court's order to file a reply on Star's bail application.


What did ED say in the chargesheet?

Fernandez was named as an accused in a supplementary charge sheet filed by the probe agency in the case against Chandrashekhar in a Delhi court on August 17. The ED's chargesheet states that "during the investigation, Jacqueline Fernandez's statements were recorded on August 30, 2021 and October 10, 2021. Meanwhile, Fernandez denied the "unity of design with Sukesh" and said that she herself was a victim of circumstance and criminal acts committed by the conman and his associates.


What did the court tell the ED?

Jacqueline has said in the petition that even though she never refused to accept the gift, at no point did she know that there was proceeds of the crime. The actress was always misled in the matter of GIFT. At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate sought time to file a reply on the bail plea of ​​Jacqueline Fernandes. The court asked the ED whether the copy of its charge sheet has been handed over to all the accused. The court asked all the accused to give a copy of the charge sheet.
